I’ve been using DiSC with clients for years and am excited about a new program, Everything DiSC® Agile EQ™. There’s lots of online chatter and research about the need for agile organizations. But how do organizations meet this rising need? The answer starts with developing the emotional intelligence of your workforce. Everything DiSC® Agile EQ™ has been created to respond to the need for an emotionally intelligent, agile workforce.
What is Agile EQ?
The DiSC Agile EQ program includes an assessment followed by a training session and optional individual coaching. The program is designed to help employees discover an agile approach to workplace interactions and learn to navigate outside their comfort zone, empowering them meet the demands of any situation.
What I find interesting is that the program includes identifying a person’s EQ, but is focused on how that person can develop their EQ. So, it goes beyond diagnosing and increasing awareness.
How does Agile EQ compare with DiSC Workplace?
If you are familiar with DiSC, the assessment and report will look and feel familiar. This is one of the key main differences between DiSC Workplace and Agile EQ:
- DiSC workplace focuses on helping employees respond to the needs of another person.
For example, if a manager has a D Style, they learn skills to manage and motivate their employees who have an S style. - Agile EQ focuses on helping employees respond to the needs of the situation.
For example, if a manager has a D Style, they learn how to respond with a more “C approach”, by creating greater stability, if that’s what the situation needs.
